The Avery Chapel Community Development Corporation is proud to present renowned author Dr. Monique Bruner in a special event celebrating Women’s History Month. The evening will include a dynamic presentation by Dr. Bruner followed by a book signing event offering two of her most recent publications, “By Faith Thou Art Healed” and “My Father Holds The Sun”. The event will be held on Wednesday, March 22nd at 7:00 p.m. at Avery Chapel AME Church, 1425 N. Kelham Ave.
Dr. Bruner has been actively engaged in the development of the Diversity Center on the Rose State campus. In addition she is a strong advocate in supporting education within the K-12 system and Rose State College.
Dr. Bruner is the Executive Director, Diversity and Cultural Affairs at Rose State College and President of the Oklahoma City Black Chamber of Commerce. She also serves as the Vice Chair of the Avery Chapel Community Development Corporation. A recipient of numerous professional and community service awards, Dr. Bruner has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with all ages. Come out to hear an inspirational message and purchase your autographed copies of Dr. Bruner’s 2022 book releases. This evening will be transformational.”
